As of yesterday, March 17th, the IRS allowed an extra 3 month extension to pay any tax amounts due. However, it should be noted that you must STILL file, or file an extension with the IRS, by April 15th. You may be at risk of being charged a separate penalty if you do not file by April 15th. With this extended payment deadline, interest and penalty charges will be waived for 90 days if an extension is filed.
As always, please let us know if you have any questions.
